Thirty years of teaching experience and forty years of running wilderness youth groups have given me a good understanding of human development and the evolution of those elusive qualities of awareness and consciousness. I have a minor degree and a major interest in philosophy, especially the contemporary works of Ken Wilber. I have a strong background in wilderness survival and native american culture, having extensive training from the Tom Brown Tracker School. Artistically, I hope to spend some of my new leisure time refining my photographic skills and working on my writing. Painting and music may also be in the cards, should the muse take me.
